Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fine wood, underpinned with ripe plums, blackberries and cherries, nuances of exotic spices, some bergamot in the background. Complex and powerful, sweet black cherries, fine ripe tannins, some nougat, mineral and salty finish, great length, secure ageing potential for decades.
