The white wine »Vom Muschelkalk« Riesling, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Sonnenberg Speeter has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Rather pale in colour, mango, passion fruit, white peach and apple on the fruity, delicately savoury nose. Ripe citrus fruit, floral notes. A well-balanced Riesling from the Triassic limestone, with a harmonious interplay of fruit and freshness as well as a mineral component. The ripe, sun-kissed fruit is memorable.
