Tasting from 08.11.2023: Ulrich Sautter

Melon yellow in colour with a hint of copper in the reflections. The nose is still very yeasty, with ripe fruit, charentais melon, apricot and pineapple. The palate opens up a triangle of vibrant acidity, vivid fruit and hearty phenolics. A full-bodied pleasure wine that still needs some bottle ageing and is then best enjoyed with wholesome regional Pfalz cuisine.
