Strong golden yellow with reddish hue. Ripe pear, apricot, quince, toasty aromas and nutty notes. Starts off textured, on a soft base substance and power unfolds, with a ripe acidity, good extract, nice spiciness, the sweetish pear fruit provides volume.
More about the tastingMelon yellow in colour with a hint of copper in the reflections. The nose is still very yeasty, with ripe fruit, charentais melon, apricot and pineapple. The palate opens up a triangle of vibrant acidity, vivid fruit and hearty phenolics. A full-bodied pleasure wine that still needs some bottle ageing and is then best enjoyed with wholesome regional Pfalz cuisine.
