The white wine Oberhäuser Kieselberg Chardonnay, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Stein has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Nahe in Germany.
Mineral on the nose, flint, fresh herbs, sorrel. Slightly sweet on the palate, an almost Riesling-like structure, some carbonic acid, exciting and fresh with an intense tactile-mineral character. A Chardonnay in a Riesling disguise, but quite harmonious and tasty in itself.
