The rosé »Stern Fumé ***« Syrah Rosé trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Strong raspberry rosé in the glass. Smoke and roasted notes on the nose, roasted hazelnut and coffee beans, cassis, raspberry, grilled red bell pepper, subtle pepper. Compact and dense on the palate, juicy red fruit, woody savouriness, dark chocolate, refreshing, well-integrated acidity draws a supple core, with power, more of a food companion than a soloist.
