Deep dark ruby in colour with a black core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a, youthful, inviting bouquet of dark forest berry confit, candied orange zest, and some wood spice. The powerful palate has good complexity, with pronounced, sweet tannins, and blackberry nuances on the finish, a versatile food wine with ageing potential.
