Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Smoky, discreet tar, dark berry fruit, liquorice and herbal savouriness, it needs air. Full-bodied, ripe plum, fine fruit, ripe supporting tannins, salty minerality on the finish, already gluggable, and it will benefit from further bottle ageing.
