The white wine »Alte Reben« Silvaner Spätlese trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery BIO-Weingut Daniel Then has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Ripe red apple on the nose, herbs, pear peel, spice and notes of yeast. Well-built on the palate with decent extract, powerful and yet with clearly defined strength, dry, also some phenolic bitterness; juicy with spice and mineral undertones.
