Tasting Notes
It is dark ruby, with a deep coloured core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is an aroma of black cherry fruit, underlaid with a fine oak character, a hint of liquorice, candied orange, and fig in the background. It is juicy, with sweet berry fruit, a hint of clove, silky tannins, discreet caramel, and a salty touch on the finish. It is already gluggable, and it has good ageing potential.
