The sweet and dessert wine Sämling 88 TBA, vintage 2008 from the winery Weingut Velich has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 96 - 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark amber, with brightening on the rim. Intense dried fruit nuances, orange marmalade, candied zest and some nougat in the background, a subtle peach note, wood aromas. Viscous, enormously concentrated, chocolatey, with a salty minerality, long lasting, has a great future ahead of it.
