This has a complex nose that initially reveals notes of honey, roasted nuts and rapey nuances, and with oxygen and time in the glass, notes of mirabelle plum, melon, and citrus are added. There are also herbal, spicy and floral aromas. It is full-bodied on the palate, with a straightforward acidity, and phenolic grip on the long spicy citrusy finish.
