The sparkling wine Crémant extra brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Zähringer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
The nose of this crémant is elegantly fruity, and it has even greater spiciness. It smells of pineapple and pear, as well as pepper and nutmeg. The palate is very rustic, the mousse is coarse-grained and mouth coating. It is an all round good quality wine.
