The white wine »Edelgräfler« Cuvée blanc, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Zähringer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Johanniter, Cabernet Blanc, Helios, Muscaris, Souvignier gris from the region Baden in Germany.
The grapey, slightly yeasty aroma is indeed somewhat reminiscent of Chasselas. On the palate, the wine has firm acidity, a straightforward, medium-bodied structure and a vinous finish. A versatile, unobtrusive accompaniment to food.
