The white wine Wachenheim Fuchsmantel Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Zimmermann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Youthful and fragrant, notes of freshly sliced pineapple, also floral with white flowers. Initially restrained in the mouth, it tightens up through the interplay of acidity and minerality. It is still taut and austere, but the drinking window will soon open.
