The sweet and dessert wine Scheurebe TBA No. 11 Zwischen den Seen, vintage 2006 from the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher has been rated in 2009 with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Medium golden yellow. Fresh citrus zest on the nose, some grapefruit, lemongrass, floral nuances, fine yellow fruit. Very freshly structured on the palate, racy acidity, which can also be expected from this variety, which easily buffers the 300 g/l of residual sugar, very mineral, delicate tropical fruit, fully ripe vine peach, remains very persistent on the palate, very animating to drink, extremely promising. Not only has a brilliant freshness, but also a presence that lasts for minutes on the finish - probably the Krachers' best Scheurebe to date.
