The sweet and dessert wine Traminer TBA No. 10 NV Nouvelle Vague from the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher has been rated in 2011 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Rich yellow-gold color. Delicate, fleeting acidity; herbal and spicy undertones of orange zest; seems somewhat closed off, with the varietal character still a bit imprecise. Intense sweetness, delicate hints of shredded coconut and melted nougat, with a somewhat dominant honey note on the finish; it still lacks a bit of length and needs several more years in the bottle to really come into its own. A sleeper.
