Tasting Notes
The winner of last year's PiWi Trophy is once again taking on the field from a fresh vintage. Cabaret Noir is a Swiss variety that apparently also thrives in Pfalz. Dark red colour in the glass, the nose is characterised by blackberry, blackcurrant and undergrowth notes. On the palate, the balance between tannins and acidity is a little reminiscent of Bordeaux. Fruit-oriented but serious - with a beautiful balance.
