The scent of almonds and herbs seems quite traditionally "German". On the palate the wine is quite sturdily built, it has a creamy foundation and also has soft wood tones. It exudes fullness, warmth and a lot of charm. For all that, it also has quite a bit of tannin, a subtle drive, and has good ageing potential.
