The red wine Alte Rebe Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Dagernova has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Fine, restrained wood shows on the nose, alongside fresh, nuanced Pinot fruit, wild blueberry. Some grapey aromas also mix with marjoram. and mint. On the palate there's a decisive juiciness at the start, then grainy, artisanal tannin takes hold and occupies the middle of the palate. The completely linear structure with perfectly integrated acidity and without any exaggerated creaminess is entirely built for ageing.
