The white wine Sommerach Katzenkopf Silvaner Spätlese trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Winzer Sommerach – Die Genossenschaft has been rated in 2016 with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Pear, Granny Smith, apricot, strawflowers and lime blossom in tame doses form a still tentative bouquet. However, there is no lack of flavor, the fruit is lush and the acidity ripe. Should linger longer on the palate and finishes delicately bitter.
