The white wine »Edition A« Achkarren Schlossberg Grauer Burgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Achkarrer Winzer am Schlossberg eG has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Ripe nose, some calvados and baked apple, herbal and floral, ginger. Power and substance on the palate on a viscous, almost oily background. The alcohol is integrated, texture, caramel and also buttery, reminiscent of the good old Ruländer.
