The red wine Teran, vintage 2008 from the winery Zidarich has been rated in 2011 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Refosco from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with violet shimmer. Very memorable nose of black pepper and wild thyme, with dark cherry in the background. Plucky and firm on the palate, soft tannins, lots of spice and then an impressive acidity, hearty and long.
