The white wine Malvasia, vintage 2012 from the winery Zidarich has been rated in 2015 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Torrontes from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright, rich golden yellow colour. Very fragrant and appealing nose, with notes of coriander, ginger, candied orange peel, some iodine, exciting. Extremely complex on the palate, with notes of baked apple and wild thyme, also of salted almonds, subtle tannins provide additional flavour, long finish.
