Tilly Ramsay Charts Her Own Path in the Culinary World
First known as Gordon Ramsay's daughter, she danced on prime time television and built up a large social media presence. Tilly Ramsay now has her own cooking show in front of the camera.
Matilda “Tilly” Elizabeth Ramsay, born in London in 2001, is the youngest daughter of British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and cookbook author Tana Ramsay. Raised between the U.K. and the United States, she was introduced to the culinary spotlight early, appearing on television as a child. Her breakout came with Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, a BBC cooking show that aired from 2015 to 2019.
In 2021, Ramsay expanded her public profile by competing on the 19th season of Strictly Come Dancing. At the same time, she steadily built a strong presence on social media, where she now reaches a large audience with food content and lifestyle posts: more than one million followers on Instagram and over ten million on TikTok.
Her cooking show Dish It Out premiered on Prime Video in the fall of 2025. In the series, Ramsay prepares dishes using surprise ingredient boxes while chatting with celebrity guests about their eating habits and culinary preferences. The program marks her most significant independent television project to date.
Carving Her Own Path
Alongside her media work, Ramsay has expressed a clear ambition to pursue formal culinary training. In several interviews, she has spoken about her plans to attend cooking school, with the goal of focusing more seriously on professional cooking—and building a career defined by her own skills rather than her father’s fame.
