The sparkling wine Cuvée Marianna Südtiroler Sekt DOP Extra Brut from the winery Arunda has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, brilliant straw yellow. Strikingly fragrant on the nose, with citrus fruit, elderflower, fine yeasty notes and hints of spruce needles in the finish. Juicy on the palate, clear, with well-integrated mousse. Shows a certain lightness and is easy to drink. Flattens out a little at the back, delicately bitter finish.
