Tasting Notes
The barrel tasting at the Château was very convincing: strong ruby garnet, good luminosity, opaque core. Delicate smoked notes on the nose, delicately animal, sloes, charcoal, dark berry puree. Almost floral on the palate, thick and concentrated, but already has momentum, pepper and spice, a full-bodied wine with a chocolate aftertaste, coffee, medium length, classic characteristics. 2006: Shows fine dark berry nuances, subtle smoky spice, mineral note.
