Tasting Notes
Bright ruby garnet, good depth of color, violet reflections. Very clear blackberry confit on the nose, very "Mouton", very pure, without roasted aroma frills. Smooth on the palate, again very pure, harmonious and complex, with a good mineral aftertaste. A very straightforward young Mouton, still somewhat discreet and nobly reserved. Last in 2006: With intense roasted aromas, eucalyptus and exotic spice notes. Full-bodied on the palate, structured, juicy primary fruit, a powerful wine, shows very good length, with potential, chocolate on the finish.
