Tasting Notes
Was much more promising in its first youth. 2004: Dark ruby garnet, delicate rim brightening. A mixture of licorice and subtle caramel on the nose. Medium texture on the palate, well balanced, subtle animal notes, round tannins, a mature, round middleweight, already surprisingly easy to drink, a noble picnic wine. 2006: Intense roasted aromas, fine notes of cassis and licorice. Structured with finesse on the palate, shows a certain extract sweetness, somewhat wide-meshed texture, medium length.
