The red wine »KUNIGUNDE« Kirchheim Satin noir trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Galler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Satin Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Very dark in colour. Intense aroma with notes of dark chocolate, butter, plum and fir honey. On the palate, the wine shows a youthful, still completely inconspicuous structure, the tannins are fine-grained and ripe, they have a high density and are seamlessly embedded in the broad, soft body. A red wine that is completely vinified for ageing potential, with a structure somewhat reminiscent of the Northern Rhône.
