Tasting Notes

98
Tasting from 17.10.2025: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Honey yellow colour with a light cloudiness. Intense on the nose, with notes of honey and spices. Full-bodied and slightly alcoholic on the palate. Somewhat sweet on the palate, then a pleasant bitterness slowly comes through. Distinctly tangy, yet very well balanced, making it velvety smooth. A light peppery note on the finish that lingers for a long time. Goes well with flavourful, savoury stews and matured cheese.
