'World’s best steak house'
Hawksmoor has announced it plans to open a Liverpool restaurant later this year, its fourth venue outside of London after Manchester, Edinburgh and New York. Located in Liverpool’s historic India Buildings, the restaurant will offer diners its iconic 35-day dry-aged steaks, sustainable seafood and award-winning cocktails. Last month London’s Hawksmoor was named the best steak restaurant in the world for 2022.
“Liverpool is one of the most exciting and dynamic cities in the country. We’ve found a beautiful, listed building in such a great location. It’s an amazing site and we’re really excited to do it justice by building something really special,” the company explained on its website.
What to order at Hawksmoor
The most iconic dish at Hawksmoor is charcoal-grilled steak, with a distinctive note of smoke and a great char on the meat. Besides steak, the restaurant offers exciting choices such as ginger pork ribs, roast scallops with tarragon or kimchi burgers. Hawksmoor also has a range of classic cocktails created by award-winning bartenders and a carefully-selected list of steak-loving wines.
The new Hawksmoor restaurant will open in Liverpool in autumn 2022. For more information, visit the website.
