New in Frankfurt: Eighty Nine Showcases the diversity of Levantine cuisine
Frankfurt has gained a new hotel and a restaurant that is by no means just an accessory. At Eighty Nine, Levantine aromas meet a subtle touch of local flair – served in bold, expressive dishes.
Only a few weeks ago, the "Kennedy 89" opened its doors in Frankfurt am Main – a stylish full-service hotel from the Hyatt Collection. And where guests can rest their heads in luxury, they should also be able to dine well. This is exactly what the in-house restaurant Eighty Nine delivers: a modern, stylish location with a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The cuisine confidently explores the world of Levantine flavors. Colorful, aromatic dishes are served either in small bowls or elegantly plated. Some of them are refined with a touch of Frankfurt. The selection leaves little to be desired: Pickled carrots and beetroot with Frankfurt herb labneh invite you to share, while cod with carrot, pointed cabbage, butter sauce, radicchio and rose petals can be enjoyed as a single main course.
The kitchen is lead by head chef Philipp Grosser. His mission is to create dishes driven by emotion and respect for the craftmanship, with bold, expressive aromas clearly in the forefront. The sharing menu is priced at €85 (3-course menu) and €95 (4-course menu) for two or more people. If you prefer to enjoy individual dishes, starters range from €18 to €28 and main courses start at €23.
