The MICHELIN Guide Estonia 2026 recommends 43 restaurants, including one Two-MICHELIN-Star restaurant, one One-MICHELIN-Star restaurant, nine Bib Gourmands and three MICHELIN Green Stars.

Estonia’s dining scene continues to gain international attention, with seven new restaurants joining the MICHELIN Guide Estonia 2026 and three establishments newly awarded a Bib Gourmand. The latest selection underlines the growing diversity and confidence of the country’s culinary landscape, particularly in Tallinn.

Tallinn’s 180° by Matthias Diether successfully retains its Two-Star status. Michelin inspectors once again praised the restaurant’s refined technique, precision and elegant flavour combinations. NOA Chef’s Hall also maintains its One MICHELIN Star, impressing with its creative open-fire cooking and outstanding wine pairings.

The biggest movement comes in the Bib Gourmand category, which recognises excellent food at accessible prices. Newly awarded are FUME, Fotografiska and Vesta. Michelin inspectors highlighted FUME’s Mediterranean-inspired grill concept, Fotografiska’s sustainable and ingredient-focused cuisine, and Vesta’s lively communal dining atmosphere.

Five additional Tallinn restaurants also entered the main selection, among them the Texas BBQ-inspired Põhjala Tap Room and Korean-Estonian fusion newcomer Sadu.

Sustainability continues to play a key role in Estonia’s gastronomy scene. Fotografiska, Hiis and Kolm Sõsarat all retained their MICHELIN Green Stars for their environmentally conscious approach to cooking and sourcing.

Among the individual honours, Gerli Travkin of Fotografiska received the Young Chef Award, while Aleksei Pogrebnoi from NOA Chef’s Hall was recognised with the Sommelier Award.

Michelin’s international director Gwendal Poullennec described Estonia’s dining scene as “increasingly confident, diverse and quality-driven,” with Tallinn continuing to establish itself as one of the Baltic region’s most exciting culinary destinations.
