VegfestUK is back: free tickets available now

After four years away, VegFest celebrates its 20th anniversary with a return to its roots in Brighton.

VegfestUK is setting up camp at the Brighton Centre from April 29 to 30, 2023, a welcome return for this major vegan celebration to the UK’s south coast. The event’s organisers are thrilled to be back in Brighton, a city famous for its vegan sensibilities and multitude of delicious plant-focused cafes, restaurants and shops. The high percentage of vegans and the plant-curious in the city promises to make VegfestUK Brighton an event to remember. To help celebrate, tickets are available free of charge this year – and they’re out now.

Held for the first time in Bristol in 2003, VegfestUK is a huge, buzzy indoor affair featuring a wealth of exhibitors, as well as a whole range of talks, panel discussions and performances. It’s a major gathering of the vegan community, and a great opportunity for newcomers to get a taste of the world of plant-based living from artisan food producers and more familiar vegan brands.

The event also features a number of summits that aim to inform and inspire through highlighting the work of related charities and bodies. The first three summits for 2023 have already been announced: Action for Animals showcasing the work of animal charities from across the UK and beyond; Vegan Fitness & Lifestyle hosted by elite sportsperson, activist and coach Kate Strong; and the Plant Based Health Professionals day of talks on vegan physical/mental health and nutrition.

Tickets are available free of charge on application from February 14th on the event website. Traders interested in exhibiting can register their interest online, and the organisers are also inviting potential speakers, volunteers, performers to get in touch.

Its sister event, VegfestUK London, will take place later in the year at the Olympia Grand in November. Companies and organisations wishing to get involved can register now.
