The Ürzig winery is located in the best sites in the "red" part of the Central Mosel: in Erden and Ürzig, where red slate and red rocks of volcanic provenance lie beneath the vineyards. Hans-Leo Christoffel and operations manager Philippe Conzen focus primarily on the classic Mosel style with a fruity sweetness. The wines that the team presented to us, from Kabinett to Auslese, are masterpieces that deserve to finally be appreciated more in this country. Lightness and mineral elegance, freshness and longevity. That is unique.
