Transparent dark red, fine fruity nose: vanilla, lilac, a bit earthy, beet, iron, then a lot of fruit on the palate without being sweet, balanced, acidic. Quite opulent. Very well matured with excellent freshness. Still relatively edgy tannins, but already mellowing.
