Rich, deep ruby with violet shimmer. Opens with light balsamic notes of pine needles, then beautiful dark currant, some licorice in the background. Powerful on the attack and on the palate, shows lots of rich cassis fruit, opens with supple, dense tannins, sweet core, creamy and long, lots of fruit on the finish.
