The white wine »Reserve« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Bildweinberg Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Spicy new wood currently dominates the aroma. The palate has a lot of drive, but also the tension of a taut, pleasantly tart phenolic flavour. Acidity and tactile minerality form the backbone around which fullness will build up over the course of maturation in the bottle.
