The red wine »Reserve« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Wanne Pinot Meunier trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Meunier from the region Baden in Germany.
The new wood is still vivid, but does not mask the red berry, slightly balsamic, spiced fruit. The palate impression is like velvet and silk and is refreshed by a fine yet incredibly civilised acidity. The richness of fruit, kitsch-free suppleness and tannins guarantee longevity.
