The white wine »Alte Reben« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Oberer Berg Cuvée trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner from the region Baden in Germany.
The aroma shows a little wood, but also a lot of lime. Then the fruit emerges, with hints of apricot and red gooseberry, mint and fresh grapes. The palate is beautifully dense and calm, with chalky, delicately phenolic motifs and a lively acidity that adds length.
