The white wine «Alte Reben« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Hohenstadten Silvaner trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Baden in Germany.
The nose is still closed, with hints of clover, although there are more limestone notes evident than varietal aromas. The palate is also still quite introspective, but the chewy texture, tart (but not aggressive) acidity and long minerally finish demonstrates its potential for ageing.
