Bright ruby with garnet rim. Finely drawn, intense nose with notes of ripe wild raspberries, fresh figs, some sealing wax in the background. Develops on the palate with present, pithy tannins, sweet core, fine fruit, hints of wild raspberry, compact and taut on the finish.
