The red wine Catena Zapata Malbec Argentino, vintage 2004 from the winery Bodega Catena Zapata has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points.
Dark ruby red, purple hues, some brightening on the rim. Tobacco, fine fresh herbs, black forest berries, nuances of nougat, candied orange zest. Good freshness, some chocolate, ripe tannins, seems to have already reached its zenith, matured and dignified, good length, with notes of sweet wild berry fruit.
