Dark, almost opaque carmine in colour with a subtle ochre rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet with attractive fine oak nuances, nougat, black forest berries, and delicately reminiscent of tobacco. The palate is juicy and elegant, with good freshness and silky tannins, ripe cherry fruit and red berry nuances, this is a wine that has reached its drinking peak, a very refined example of the variety, elegant and balanced, and has evolved wonderfully.
