Deep ruby-garnet colour, with purple reflections and an ochre rim. Fresh red fruits of the forest berries, fine herbal flavour, currant, lime zest and mineral touches. Taut, tightly knit, with subtle strawberry flavours, preserved ripe cherry, crisp minerality and ripe tannins. Powerful on the finish, salty, very youthful and very persistent. A wine full of energy and length, fresh, delicate and almost Burgundian in appearance (PM, drinking/storing + 15).
