Pronounced ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, brighter at the ochre rim. Hints of red sweet cherry, notes of cranberry, mineral hints and orange zest; needs air and must be decanted. Full-bodied, elegant palate with ripe tannins, finesse-rich acidity. Mineral, with subtle fruit on the finish, it has good drive, shows length and harmony and is fresh and animating to drink. A great, well-developed accompaniment to food. (PM, drinking/ ageing +25).
