Der Pinot blanc, ein Weissburgunder, ist eine alte Rebsorte und wird seit dem 14. Jahrhundert angebaut. Er ist diffizil im Anbau und bedarf feinfühliger Bearbeitung. Auf fruchtbaren sowie kalkhaltigen Böden fühlt er sich wohl. Die Traube ist sehr hellfarbig und ergibt einen filigranen, eleganten, äusserst fruchtigen Wein. Im Burgund wird er praktisch nicht mehr angebaut, in der Schweiz, in Deutschland und in Italien aber nach wie vor hoch geschätzt.

Notes of Golden Delicious, ripe pear and white flowers on the nose, along with fresh kitchen herbs such as parsley and chervil and hints of fresh shortbread. Soft on the palate, with an echo of apple aromas and a ripe acidity that is well integrated.
