The red wine La Carèga del Diavolo Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Ca' Salarola has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Veneto in Italy.
Deep dark ruby with almost brownish reflections. Coffee grounds, graphite, iron and old wood on the nose, with a molasses echo and little fruit. Surprisingly fruity on the palate, but coated in hard, ferrous aromas, lots of wood, remains very drying.
