The red wine La Scajàra Veneto Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Ca' Salarola has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark luminous ruby, sinister and rich. On the nose there are notes of graphite, oak, some candle wax, then dark berry fruit. On the palate it shows with nice acidity and juicy tannin, plus clear fruit, embedded in grippy loosely knit tannin which comes back constantly in the background, can still grown-up.
