The red wine La Scajara Veneto Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Ca' Salarola has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby red with dark brown reflections. Nose of malt, molasses, coffee powder, mint, pepper and subtle black berries. Lots of tannins on the palate, grippy, with plenty of juice and good acidity, lively, but somewhat inharmonious, should age. Old school.
